National Conference Chief Spokesperson and MLA Zadibal Tanvir Sadiq Monday dedicated a landmark Islamic calligraphic installation at Alamgari Bazar.
Speaking on the occasion, Sadiq said the installation reflects Kashmir’s rich religious, cultural and spiritual heritage and stands as a tribute to the timeless values espoused by Prophet Muhammad ( SAW) and the Ahl-e-Bait (AS).
“This landmark is not merely a beautification project; it is a symbol of our collective faith and identity. It embodies the principles of compassion, justice, sacrifice, love and brotherhood that continue to guide and inspire generations,” he said.
Highlighting the significance of the project, Tanvir said that among the many developmental and beautification initiatives being undertaken across Zadibal, it had always been his heartfelt desire that one of the constituency’s most prominent landmarks should begin with the blessed name of Allah (SWT).
“I am delighted that this vision has now become a reality. It is a moment of pride and gratitude that this landmark, adorned with the sacred names revered by millions, will stand as a beacon of faith and inspiration for the people,” he said.
He noted that the installation would not only enhance the aesthetic appeal and identity of the constituency but would also serve as a lasting reminder of the enduring message of spirituality, harmony and service to humanity.
Dedicating the landmark to the people of Zadibal, Srinagar and the entire Jammu and Kashmir, Sadiq expressed hope that it would become a cherished symbol of devotion and pride for generations to come.
Reaffirming his commitment to the preservation of Zadibal’s unique cultural and religious character, he said efforts would continue to strengthen public infrastructure, improve civic amenities and undertake initiatives that reflect the aspirations and heritage of the people.
