The Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST) is set to host its first HR Conclave on June 24, bringing together industry leaders, human resource professionals, academicians, entrepreneurs and students to deliberate on workforce readiness, employability and emerging skill requirements.

Organised by the Centre for Career Counselling and Placements (CCCP) and Industry Connect under the aegis of the Dean of Outreach, the conclave is themed “Youth, Skills and Employment Summit 2026: Bridging Academia and Industry for Sustainable Careers.”

The event aims to strengthen industry-academia engagement and provide a platform for meaningful dialogue on the evolving employment landscape, future workforce demands and strategies to enhance graduate employability.

Participants will include HR professionals, corporate executives, industry leaders, policymakers, faculty members, career resource coordinators and students, who will discuss contemporary recruitment trends, emerging competencies, leadership skills and pathways for building sustainable careers.

Over the years, IUST has positioned itself as a hub of academic excellence, innovation, entrepreneurship and industry engagement. Through research, technology development, internships, placements and outreach initiatives, the university has consistently focused on improving student employability and fostering strong institutional and industry partnerships.

The conclave is expected to serve as a platform for knowledge exchange, policy dialogue and strategic collaboration, with organisers envisioning it as an annual event dedicated to nurturing skilled human capital and contributing to sustainable economic and social development.
