Separate road accidents in Odisha: One killed in Sonepur, man-son cheat death in Bhubaneswar

A mini-truck driver was killed in a head-on collision with a truck near Jamchhapar village on the Sonepur–Binika road in Odisha's Sonepur district early on Sunday morning. According to reports, the fatal accident occurred when a truck and a mini-truck travelling from opposite directions collided head-on near Jamchhapar village. Police Detain Truck Driver Following the accident, police initiated an investigation and took the truck driver into custody. The deceased driver's body was seized and sent for further procedures. Two More Accidents Reported In Bhubaneswar And Cuttack A truck rammed into a car late on Saturday night at Jayadev Vihar in Bhubaneswar. A man and his son travelling in the car had a narrow escape. The front portion of the vehicle was completely damaged in the collision. The truck driver fled the scene with the vehicle before police arrived. Nayapalli Police reached the spot and launched an investigation into the incident. In another incident, a hyva truck collided with a tractor from behind on National Highway 16 at Pratapnagari in Cuttack on Sunday morning. The tractor driver sustained injuries and was admitted to the hospital for treatment. Cuttack Sadar Police seized both the tractor and the hyva truck and began an investigation into the circumstances leading to the accident.
