Man, son injured in sword attack near Capital Hospital in Bhubaneswar; past rivalry suspected

A father and his son were reportedly injured after being allegedly attacked by a group of miscreants wielding a sword near Capital Hospital in Bhubaneswar on Sunday. The injured persons, identified as Dilip and his son Rajendra, were rushed to hospital and admitted for treatment.  Attack Linked To Previous Enmity According to reports, four to five miscreants arrived at Dilip's shop and inquired about the whereabouts of his son-in-law. The group allegedly turned violent and attacked Dilip and his son when he informed them that his son-in-law was not at home. The miscreants also damaged the shop before fleeing the scene. Reports suggest that the assault was triggered by previous enmity. Police Begin Investigation Following the attack, officials from the Capital Police Station reached the spot and started an investigation.  The condition of the injured father and son was not immediately available at the time of reporting.
